Authors Anna Shamburger and T.D. Wallace have completed their new book No Meat for Supper, a pleasant tale about a buzzard who wants to eat meat, but life gets in the way. Published by Newman Springs Publishing, Anna Shamburger and T.D. Wallace’s quirky tale follows Papi, a buzzard, who loves to eat meat. Papi lives with Sally Buzzard, who harvests vegetables for the family to eat. Every day, Papi hopes to have meat for supper that night, but Papi is often let down and ends up eating the vegetables Sally harvests.
Papi attempts to gather meat for supper, but the animals he collects end up being welcomed into Papi and Sally’s home. One day, Arida, a dog, requires Papi and Sally’s attention, making Papi unable to have meat for supper. Ears is another animal that Sally rescues, preventing Papi from eating meat for yet another night. Fly falls out of a tree and Papi takes Fly home for Sally to console, as well. Papi quickly realizes that he is not going to have meat for supper anytime soon.
