The Devil Made Me Do It<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

It was not the devil it was you. Why give power, recognition, and credit to a fiend that cannot overpower the god within you? Take responsibility for your wrongdoings. Stop blaming your wrongdoings on the tempter for being tempted. You have the power to fight temptation at any given moment the serpent tries to trick us into a transgression. It is shown in Genesis 3:13 <\/span><\/span>13\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/sup><\/span>Then the\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Lord<\/span><\/span>\u00a0God said to the woman, \u201cWhat is this you have done?\u201d The Woman Said, \u201cThe Serpent Deceived Me,\u00a0And I Ate<\/span><\/span>.\u201d<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Temptation Over Patience Is a Dangerous Game to Play<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Eve knew she was not to eat from the tree in the middle of the garden. God was so clear. The Lord said you shall not even touch the tree in the middle of the garden. The serpent was only a distraction. In life if you are not focused on what is in front of you but focused on what is beside you, then my friend there is no one to blame but yourself. In life metaphorically your peripheral vision can throw you off. Be wary of instant gratification. Again, temptation over patience is a dangerous game to play; that desirable distraction can cause regret. When regret strikes all you will feel is instant anguish and the only words that replay in your mind is I wish I had, instead of I am glad I did.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

So, remember the devil did not do it. No, you did. If you do wrong do not blame it on the devil in Colossians 3:25 it states,\u201d<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/sup><\/span>Anyone who does wrong will be repaid for their wrongs, and there is no favoritism.\u201d<\/span><\/span> Who will be paid back? Not the Devil.\u00a0 No.\u00a0 You will be paid back. Treat others with respect, think before you act, and if you have made a mistake, God knows the truth, for he is all knowing. Therefore, blaming your wrongdoings on the devil is ultimately lying to God and to yourself. If you do not take responsibility for your wrongdoings, and if you do not admit to yourself and to God that you have done wrong then you have no room to grow. We all make mistakes but at least learn from them and the only way we can do that is by blaming ourselves, not the devil or anyone else, for God can see through our deceitfulness.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
