A young couple moved into a new house.<\/p>\n

The next morning while they were eating breakfast, the young woman saw her neighbor hanging the washing outside.<\/p>\n

“That laundry is not very clean; she doesn\u2019t know how to wash correctly. Perhaps she needs better soap powder.<\/p>\n

Her husband looked on, remaining silent.<\/p>\n

Every time her neighbor hung her washing out to dry, the young woman made the same comments.<\/p>\n

A month later, the woman was surprised to see a nice clean wash on the line and said to her husband, “Look, she\u2019s finally learned how to wash correctly. I wonder who taught her this?”<\/p>\n

The husband replied, “I got up early this morning and cleaned our windows.”<\/p>\n

And so it is with life\u2026 What we see when watching others depends on the clarity of the window through which we look.<\/p>\n

So don\u2019t be too quick to judge others, especially if your perspective of life is clouded by anger, jealousy, negativity or unfulfilled desires.<\/p>\n

When a group of tourists visited a crocodile farm, the owner of the place launched a daring proposal. \u201cWhoever dares to jump, swim to shore and survive, I will give 1 million dollars.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nobody dared to move, but suddenly a man jumped into the water and desperately swam towards the shore while he was chased by all the crocodiles. With great luck he arrived, taking the admiration of everyone. The owner announced \u201cWe have a brave winner.\u201d<\/p>\n

After collecting their reward, the couple returned to the hotel, and upon arrival, the manager told him \u201che was very brave to jump\u201d the man replied, \u201cI didn’t jump, someone pushed me!\u201d<\/p>\n

A few weeks ago, our rhino patrol team witnessed an intense fight between two southern white rhino bulls.<\/p>\n

Once it was over, there was a clear loser – eleven-year-old Jayjay who had suffered multiple lacerations and penetrative wounds from the other bull’s horn, and it was evident that he would struggle in his day-to-day life.<\/p>\n

The rangers alerted our veterinarian and Kenya Wildlife Service, and after observing the rhino, it was decided an intervention was needed to treat the wounds.<\/p>\n

The team determined the cause of the fight to be the diminished pasture, due to the drought, Jayjay had travelled a long distance from his usual territory in search of food leading him to another bull’s home.<\/p>\n

“Declining pasture and resources like water has greatly impacted grazer populations like southern white rhinos. More and more, we are observing fights among this species that are otherwise known to be very social,” says Samuel Mutisya, our Head of Conservation. “<\/p>\n

We are happy to report that Jayjay is doing well after the treatment, and thanks to the recent rains can find some grass around his own territory.<\/p>\n

In Brazil, people saw this scene and were curious, after all, you don’t often see two elderly men walking together on a street, especially at this age and holding hands.<\/p>\n

Some people insinuated that they would be a couple, but the daughter of the gentleman in the light blue shirt said that they have been friends for many years, since childhood, and the shortest one is almost blind.<\/p>\n

And as they are already elderly and by medical advice they should go for a walk, so the friend drives every day to exercise together.<\/p>\n

Friends are not those who are close to you only when you have money or something to offer them.<\/p>\n

A true friend is by your side until the last day of your life.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

What happened with the two white lions who killed their keeper?<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

First of all, let\u2019s get the question right. West Mathewson was the owner of these two white lions, not their keeper. Small but important difference.<\/p>\n

He had raised them since they were cubs. Being social animals they no doubt regarded him as \u2018Head of the Pride\u2019 and this is where the problems can sometimes happen; that position is always open to challenge.<\/p>\n

This was not the first time these two lions had killed someone. A farm worker was clawed to death in 2017.<\/p>\n

Mathewson was obviously very attached to his white lions, but he paid the ultimate price for not having a house cat as a pet. Any wild cat can be wildly unpredictable and any time you enter their enclosure, particularly if there are multiple cats, you are playing russian roulette. Eventually if you keep spinning the barrel, the bullet ends up in the right place to kill you.<\/p>\n

So why did it happen ?<\/p>\n

That will never be known for sure. I would suggest a possible reason was a change in dominance between the two lions. The one who moved up the ladder challenged and killed West. According to the story, one lioness attacked the other and then went after West.<\/p>\n

You only get to make a mistake with a wild cat once.<\/p>\n

There is another rumor going round that these lions will be released into the wild. Should that happen, it will all end in disaster and they will most likely become man eaters and get shot.<\/p>\n

This is yet another example of a wild cat owner being killed by his \u2018pet\u2019. When will these idiots come to the conclusion that they are called \u2018wild\u2019 animals for a good reason ???<\/p>\n
