Despite the hardships they faced, Khaliyah graduated valedictorian and Aaliyah graduated salutatorian with their drive and motivation.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The twins dedicate their success most especially to their mother who passed away last year. \u201cShe was proud of us for everything that we were doing,\u201d the twins told <em><a href=\"http:\/\/nbcphiladelphia.com\/entertainment\/philly-live\/philly-twins-graduate-at-top-of-class-from-gamp-high-school\/2420208\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">NBC News<\/a><\/em> about their mother.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Aside from their academics, the two sisters were also occupied with participating in track and field and theater plays.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Due to the pandemic, they will be having their graduation virtually wherein they are set to address their fellow graduates.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re still doing everything even though it is not the same as before. We\u2019re going through this and we will be stronger and more prepared for anything that comes in the future.\u201d<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Both of them are pursuing premed but\u00a0Khaliyah is heading to Delaware State University, while Aaliyah is going to the University of Pennsylvania.
