Great Toddys Are Still Hot and Steamy

Teeth Whitening 4 You

There’s no better way to welcome chillier weather.

If anything, the Hot Toddy is the quintessential cold-weather cocktail. It has a delightful warming quality, but it’s also filling and restorative. The oh-so-popular seasonal beverage first became popular in Western Europe during the 18th century in pubs in northern England and Scotland, where barmen would pour hot water into their Scotch and sip the drink to stay warm.

Today, there are many different variations of the recipe, but most include whiskey or bourbon, a sweetener, woody spices, hot water, and a slice of lemon.

Here’s the recipe for a classic Hot Toddy.

Total Time: 0 hours 5 mins
